Eikelaan Farm Cottages Tulbagh
The three comfortable self-catering cottages are all fronted by an open vista of green fields merging into blue mountains - an appealing contrast of the soft and the rugged. Children and adults delight in exploring this neat working farm with grain, vines, olives and sheep.
The cottages are light and airy, fully equipped and decorated in natural hues and textures. Wide windows and double doors drench the interior in light, terracotta floors inject the rustic country edge, offset by warm sisal mats, natural cream curtains, crisp white linen and thick duvets.
Each cottage has an indoor fireplace making for cozy winters in a corner of the world where snow on the nearby mountains isn't uncommon. On the other hand, if you're dropping in during the summer months, you'll be thrilled to know the units have aircon and overhead fans, as well as easy access to a swimming pool and shady lapa.
The Witzenberg Cottage
This spacious cottage has a single bedroom with a King size bed.
It has a full bathroom with both shower and bath, a large lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
This cottage is designed for two adults but by using the double sleeper couch in the lounge, four people can be comfortably accommodated.
The Obiqua Cottage
The second single bedroomed cottage is fitted with 2 three quarter beds.
This cottage is also ideally designed for two but a double sleeper couch in the lounge allows for extra accommodation.
It also has a full bathroom with shower and bath, a lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

The Winterhoek Cottage
This new two-bedroomed cottage is suited to a larger family, and sleeps up to six, with an en-suite, queen-sized main bedroom and a second twin room and central bathroom.
The living room has a further two single stack beds.
Stepping outside, the cottages all have tiled patios and a broad stretch of green lawn, each with its own private braai.

From Cape Town - N1 Freeway towards Paarl
Take the R44 Klapmuts/Stellenbosch/Wellington turnoff and turn left. Just before Wellington turn left again towards Porterville/Ceres (R44). Once through the Nuwekloof Pass, IGNORE the first sign to Tulbagh and take the second entrance to Tulbagh. Continue for approximately 300m from turn off and look for our green sign board Eikelaan Farm Cottages on the right hand side. Turn right and continue along the dirt road for approximately 1km to reach the farm.
From Ceres/Bainskloof Pass/Worcester
Travel through Wolsely en route to Tulbagh on the R46. Approximately 10km from Wolsely (24 km from Ceres), turn right at the first Tulbagh signage board our farm Sign. Continue for approximately 300mts from turn off and look for our green sign board Eikelaan Farm Cottages on the right hand side. Turn right and continue along the dirt road for approximately 1km to reach the farm. (Eikelaan lies on the right hand side of the crossing where the R46 branches off to Gouda)
