From Cape Town/George
- Tke the N2 to Knysna from Cape Town
- On approaching Knysna, after the turn off to Brenton-on-Sea, you will cross a bridge over the lagoon (referred to as the “white bridge”). Travel approx. 6 kms, passing through 2 sets of traffic lights, i.e. intersections of N2 and Welbedacht Road and Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Road) respectively.
- After the N2/Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Road) main intersection, take second turning left into Albatross Street
- Turn immediately left after 1 (ONE) meter. Do NOT travel up Albatross Street. If you reach a T-Junction you have gone too far!
- Proceed along the service road parallel to N2 (must see the lagoon)
- Hide-Away Guest House is signposted.
From Port Elizabeth
- Take the N2 to Knysna from Port Elizabeth
- Drive through the town of Knysna.
- Look out for Total petrol station on the right. From the next traffic light (junction of Main Road & Waterfront Drive) take 3rd road on the right (Albatross Street)
- Turn left after 1 (ONE) meter. Do NOT travel up Albatross Street. If you reach a T-Junction you have gone too far!
- Proceed along the service road parallel to N2 (must see the lagoon)
- Hide-Away Guest House is signposted.
