Summer Blue Guest House
Summer Blue Guest House is situated in the quiet, up-market beachfront suburb of Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth along with other guest houses, bed & breakfasts and self-catering establishments. We are close to all beachfront amenities offering quality, spacious and private accommodation to leisure and corporate travellers.
All rooms have private entrances with secure off-street parking. Summer Blue Guest House is 5 kilometers from the airport and airport transfers can be arranged.
Full breakfasts are served in the dining-room. Dinners are by arrangement. All our rooms are semi-self-catering.
Summer Blue Guest House is conveniently situated close to Hobie, Kings and Pollock Beaches with its various restaurants, McArthur Baths, Boardwalk Casino Entertainment Centre with its restaurants and shops, Bay World Oceanarium, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Nelson Mandela Stadium and Humewood Golf Club.
Our five tastefully decorated rooms each have separate exterior entrances. All rooms are suited for either the leisure or corporate traveller.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers only and are provided with percale linen.
All rooms are equipped with a desk, TV, tea/coffee tray, microwave oven, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, heater, fan, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and safe in every room. Electric blankets are provided in winter.
Individual DSTV decoders in every room with Super sport channels, M-net, Movie channels and SABC 1, 2, 3 and e-tv.
A full English breakfast is served in our dining-room every morning. Room trays are available on request.

From the N2 continue straight on the M4 (Settlers Way) and where the freeway ends continue straight onto Marine Drive.
Turn right into 2nd Avenue (Boardwalk Casino) and continue to the T-junction at Strandfontein road and turn left.
At the following traffic light turn right into McWilliams Road.
Turn right into the second street (Bulbring and then left into the second street (Harvey ).

From Cape Town
(The most direct way)
From the N2 take the second exit into Port Elizabeth (Cape Road) and follow Cape Road until you meet the interchange with the Settlers Freeway.
Take the ramp to Summerstrand and where the freeway ends continue straight onto Marine Drive.
Turn right into 2nd Avenue (Boardwalk Casino) and continue to the T-junction at Strandfontein road and turn left.
At the following traffic light turn right into McWilliams Road.
Turn right into the second street (Bulbring and then left into the second street (Harvey ).
