White Shark Guest House
The décor of the first floor lounge, with large sofas and chairs, antique cupboards, warm carpets, and African masks, takes you back to Colonial times. Relax on a rainy day with a cup of coffee or a glass of our local red wine, play a game of chess or simply enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean.
On the private balcony soak up the African sun, pour a glass of our local white wine or fruit juice, sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the ocean.
In the fully equipped kitchen prepare your own lunch or dinner to enjoy in either the dining room or on the patio. Or have a Cape winter braai in the kitchen on the built-in braai. If that does not appeal to you a lovely restaurant is just across the street.
Each bedroom is decorated in a mix between rustic and contemporary including brick walls and modern furniture with high quality matrasses. All our rooms have the hotel DSTV bouquet (Satellite TV) which you control what you would like to view. Free WiFi connectivity throughout the property. Each bedroom has its own safe for your valuables. Hair dryers are supplied in all the rooms as well as toiletries.

Map and Directions to White Shark Guest House
Directions from Cape Town
Travel along the N2 from Cape Town over Sir Lowry’s Pass. Sir Lowry’s Pass takes you over the mountains, continue this route to the Houw Hoek Pass. At the bottom of the Houw Hoek Pass take the R43 turn-off/exit to Hermanus. Travel through Hermanus and follow the signs towards Standford. Continue past Stanford towards Gansbaai. Upon entering Gansbaai follow the Main Road and at the 5th intersection turn right towards Kleinbaai, continue for about 2 km. When entering Kleinbaai take the first right turn into Perlemoen Street. Take the first left into Geelbek Street, and directly on your right will be White Shark Guest House, on the corner of Perlemoen Street and Geelbek Street.
Directions from the Garden Route
Travel along the N2 towards Cape Town through Riviersonderend. After exiting Riviersonderend take the R326 turn-off/exit towards Standford. At Stanford intersection take a left towards Gansbaai.
Upon entering Gansbaai follow the Main Road and at the 5th intersection turn right towards Kleinbaai, continue for about 2 km. When entering Kleinbaai take the first right turn into Perlemoen Street. Take the first left into Geelbek Street, and directly on your right will be White Shark Guest House, on the corner of Perlemoen Street and Geelbek Street.
