ZAWeb Portals is a central  internet based Tourism database "feeding" a network of tourism portals. 

Updating of information is via a password protected Control Panel with a tiered user permission functionality. The webmaster is able to update the content on the website whilst it is also be possible for product owners to update their own listings.

Information such as events, news and accommodation and activities can be shared with the permission of the relevant webmaster on different tourism portal websites. e.g an event in Middelburg can be shown on the Your Travel Guide, West 2 Wildcoast, Graaff Reinet, The Great Karoo websites thus reaching far more potential visitors.

When the webmaster updates the content of the event at a later stage e.g. adding a programme once it has been finalized, it will be updated on all the portals where it is shown.

Similarly members can elect to list their tourism products on a number of these portal websites subject to membership requirements and all will be updatable at a central location by the member him/herself.

The central database ensures administrative efficiency and maximum exposure for all participating members.
