Welcome to 22 Julia B&B, a small but charming, privately run Bed and Breakfast in Central Plettenberg Bay. Comfort combined with the personal attention of your host will make your stay in Plettenberg Bay perfect!

Furniture and decor that has been handed down from generation to generation invites you to feel relaxed and comfortable in our B&B. We offer a variety of reads to choose from with a selection of books and magazines, or you can enjoy watching TV with a cup of coffee or a drink. There is also a wide choice of DVD’s in English, Afrikaans and German.

Sitting in the courtyard, or better known to me as the “Tea garden”, breakfast will make a good start to your day in lovely Plettenberg Bay. If the wind is blowing too hard this will be the perfect shelter to have a glass of wine in the evening and good company, under a blanket of stars…

Enjoy the stunning panoramic view overlooking Poortjies Lagoon and the ocean, with the Tsitsikamma Mountains as a backdrop. Our Bed & Breakfast is an ideal place from which to spot dolphins and whales when in season, as well as an ever changing picture of magic sunsets and sunrises.

One of the two en-suite rooms has it’s own entrance and is called “Moondust”. Named by the very first guest who was taken by the beauty of watching a full moon rising over the Bay behind a haze of clouds from the sea, sitting on his bed while enjoying a glass of wine.

The second en-suite is named after the treasured flower called the Protea which is South Africa’s National flower and also common to these parts.

T-times for golfers, whale and dolphin watching tours as well as other arrangements for sport and leisure enthusiasts are gladly arranged.
