Botlierskop Private Game Reserve is ideally located between Mossel Bay and George along the scenic Garden Route. Guests can choose from three distinct accommodation options: the luxurious Botlierskop Tented Lodge, the family-friendly Botlierskop Village Lodge, and the tranquil Bush Villas, perfect for a serene escape.

Day visitors are also warmly welcomed and can enjoy a variety of activities, including guided game drives, picturesque picnics, horseback safaris, relaxing spa treatments, fishing, and tennis.

Guided Game Drives

A real Garden Route safari experience! Enjoy close encounters with rhinoceros, lions, buffalo, giraffe, the rare black impala, golden wildebeest, mountain zebra, eland, elephants and so much more. Our Game Reserve is 6000 ha and comprises of over 26 different species of animals and more than 200 bird species. We offer guests a 3 hour guided safari in the mornings and afternoons.

Horseback Safaris

Saddle up for an exciting horseback safari and escape to the majestic mountain valleys and beautiful fynbos for a 2 or 3 hour horse ride and experience nature like never before. Experience our diverse plant life including woodlands, coastal and mountain fynbos, renosterveld and free-roaming wildlife (which can not be guaranteed). Horseback rides are 3.5 hours and are available for experienced riders only.

Fijnebos Spa

Relax and enjoy being pampered in our Botlierskop Fijnebos Spa. The Spa is situated on the riverbank surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery. Treatments include African massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. So take a step back, breath and let us pamper you, while surrounded by nature!
