Guided Game Drives

A real Garden Route safari experience! Enjoy close encounters with rhinoceros, lions (100 ha enclosure), buffalo, giraffe, the rare black impala, golden wildebeest, mountain zebra, eland, elephants (trained) and so much more. Our Game Reserve is 3500 ha and comprises of over 26 different species of animals and more than 200 bird species. We offer guests a 3 hour guided safari in the mornings and afternoons.

Horseback Safaris

Saddle up for an exciting horseback safari and escape to the majestic mountain valleys and beautiful fynbos for a 1, 2 or 3 hour horse ride and experience nature like never before. Experience our diverse plant life including woodlands, coastal and mountain fynbos, renosterveld and spot free-roaming wildlife (which can not be guaranteed). Horseback rides are 3.5 hours and are available for experienced riders only.

Guided Bush Trails

Experience and enjoy the Garden Route's abundant fauna and flora on foot. Follow a Botlierskop field ranger as he tracks for 2 ½ hours through diverse habitats such as coastal renosterveld and Cape fynbos. Maybe see wild animals while exploring the wonders of insects, ecology, birds (Knysna Touraco, African Fish-eagle, Jackal Buzzard and more) and the medicinal values of the plants.

Botlierskop Bush Spa

Relax and enjoy being pampered in our new Botlierskop Bush Spa. The Bush Spa is situated on the riverbank surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery and consists of two treatment rooms named Fauna and Flora. Treatments include African massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. So take a step back, breath and let us pamper you, while surrounded by nature!
