Harbour House Hotel

Situated in the heart of the historical village, Harbour House Hotel has been modelled after its original architecture, a thatched roof seaside manor house built in 1920. Being perfectly located above the Old Harbour, the hotel’s understated luxury is offset by the soothing surrounds of the ocean. The magnificent Lookout Terrace invites guests to relax around the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and savour a sundowner from the pool bar in the Pavilion.

Rooms are luxuriously appointed, with sophisticated modern décor and breathtaking views, all within easy walking distance of the town’s top attractions, whale watching sites, markets, restaurants, street cafés and an abundance of reserved natural splendour.

Nestled between mountain and sea, the natural beauty and cosy village atmosphere of Hermanus make for the perfect romantic escape. From secluded walks along the coast, to horse-riding on the beach or whale-watching from a boat out at sea, couples will delight in an abundance of activities which can be enjoyed together.

Hermanus also boasts its own wine route through the Hemel and Aarde Valley, affording couples the opportunity to experience the romance of a wine-tasting experience, located along a verdant valley. With no shortage of excellent restaurants in the village, couples can enjoy memorable long lunches at a number of beautiful locations from Hermanus through to Stanford, as well as unforgettable dinners at fine dining restaurants.
