Whitnall's B&B / Self-catering

Whitnall’s luxury holiday house is located in the picturesque seaside village of Kenton-on-Sea on the Eastern Cape coast of South Africa. Within easy walking distance of the unspoilt beaches and peaceful rivers, the house is nestled in a lush sheltered milkwood garden with sparkling plunge pool, covered barbecue patios and a safe children’s play yard.

We offer fabulous accommodation alongside the Joan Muirhead Nature Reserve - a birder's delight - and a short stroll from the beaches and river.

Our rooms are all spotless, upmarket and beautifully appointed.

Children are particularly welcome. Beach toys, games, umbrellas and picnic baskets provided.

Our mature well-shaded garden with its plunge pool and verandah offers a quiet peaceful are to relax and de-stress.

The accommodation consists of three bedrooms and an open plan living area comprising lounge, dining and fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.

The main bedroom has a king-size bed and has a full en-suite bathroom. The second has a double bed and the third, two singles. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. All bedrooms have TV, radio and tea/coffee-making facilities.

All linen, towels and beach towels are provided. Towels are changed twice a week and bed linen once a week.

The lounge in the large sunny living area, which can seat 9, has DSTV, M-Net, Radio/CD player and Video Recorder/Player and DVD. The dining area has a 10-seater table and all the necessary cutlery and crockery.

The kitchen has a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all other necessary electrical appliances as well as all cooking utensils.

The living area and all bedrooms open onto patios. The garden is fully fenced and has a plunge pool and sundeck and covered off-street parking. There are 3 equipped barbecue areas. The accommodation is burglar-barred and has a security alarm. There is a safe in the main bedroom for your valuables.

The accommodation is self-catering, self service but domestic help can be arranged with prior notice.

There is a launderette (unfortunately large items cannot be washed on the premises) and most shops one needs in the village. There is a doctor, a dentist, 2 physiotherapists, a pharmacy and a veterinarian available.
